Times Square WIRED Store to feature 10,000 square feet of hot holiday gadgets, art installations and special events from November 18 – December 24


New York, NY (November 2011) – Tech aficionados, gadget junkies and holiday shoppers can rejoice when The WIRED Store (www.wired.com/store) returns to New York City in a new location in the heart of Times Square from Friday, Nov. 18 through Saturday, Dec. 24.  Store hours are noon to 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays (closed Thanksgiving Day).  Located at 42nd and Broadway, the 7th annual WIRED Store invites shoppers to get a first look at unique gadgets and gear such as the PENTAX Q (the smallest interchangeable lens camera in the world):

The brick-and-mortar store is a spin-off of WIRED, known for its big ideas, innovative design and focus on forecasting trends. With a pixel-based winter landscape and color scheme, the interactive shopping gallery will feature more than 200 of the hottest new products, on display and available for purchase, as well as a schedule of engaging events. Items include an array of electronics, apparel, art and design fixtures, kitchenware, luxury items, games and for adults and children of
all ages.
