Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple – Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple was built in 1884. During World War II, the temple was spared of destruction when all the other buildings in the area were severely damaged. It provided refuge for the sick, the wounded and the homeless. At present time, it is still a favourite place for many Buddhists both locals and tourists. The image shows the crowd walking outside Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple in a late afternoon.

Caption: Street Arts in China Town – Life in Singapore is fast paced and busy. People are catching up with technology in a city where new buildings emerge every day. Beside the modern city look, these street arts help maintain the imaginary and creative side in each and everyone of us. I hope we will appreciate their existence. And the more modern we grow, the more Arts we need to balance out our development. As we are human, we do not only need the materialistic infrastructure, but our souls need to be nurtured and touched as well.
