Singapore – 8th April 2015, Singapore – Getty Images, the world’s leader in visual communication, today unveils an innovative new Boards feature that sets a new standard for collaboration in the creative industry. This next-generation collaboration tool enables creatives to seamlessly curate, share and discuss Getty Images’ award-winning imagery and video content. Getty Images iOS app update
Also launching today is the updated and redesigned Getty Images iOS app, which now includes Boards. Designed to help creatives find inspiration and search and discover the world’s best imagery for their projects, the updated app includes browsable galleries of premium creative and editorial content and enables users to find and follow their favourite photographers. Images can now be shared legally and at no cost via iMessage, in addition to email and social networks via Getty Images embed tool.

“Customers are telling us they love the Getty Images iOS app and they primarily use it to search and select images for use in their creative projects. Inspiration can strike anywhere and the updated app makes it even easier to view the latest from our collection and share and follow your favourite images, photographers and trends, wherever you happen to be working,” said Heck.

The new app is available on iPhone 4S, iPad 3 and higher devices, as well as iOS8 compatible devices. The Getty Images iOS app can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store today. The updated Getty Images iOS app follows the recent update to the iStock by Getty Images iOS apps, Getty Images’ free app for consumers to view and share the world’s best photography.
