02nd May 2026, Singapore – The group returned to Thomson Nature Park recently to capture insects and wildlife. Heading out to the reserve in MAY is challenging, hot & humid and the increased attacks by mozzies. Best part, towards the end of the event, the Storm Siren rang, lucky everyone got out before the rain came.

As expected, there were lots of insects – common & uncommon ones. We noticed an increased number of spiders during this visit.

During the outing, many great conversations were exchanged between photographers and new friendships started with several new faces joining us at the event.

And of course, apart from spiders, we spotted a lot of other interesting creatures.
