31st December 2014, Singapore – The recent photo submission contest by
Pink Photographers Singapore (PPSG) came as a challenge to both the Pink Members as well as the Sponsor & Judges. It had been an emotional journey for everyone. The submitted entries were soulful, heart wrenching and it raked up tons of emotional pain, past memories and everything in between. For the members, it was a test of creativity, alternative photography and planning how to extract the best of their individuality through their lenses to better and properly expressed the given theme “Lady Rain“.

I met up with the Winners last night for dinner as well as to present the prizes to them. I shared about how their photos had evoked my inner thoughts and how the images had brought back memories of yesteryears for me. It was a great dinner with further sharing on how each of us sees things differently and how we expressed ourselves through our photos.

And of course, all of us got to know each other better through this dinner and we had fun talking about other stuff as well. Like how they came to know about PINK, their comments & feedback about PINK etc. Photographers are after all, people. I am grateful to receive every comment as these are the very words from supportive members and contest winners that will shape the future PPSG.
